R. Dudley Boyce Library
Golden West College
The R. Dudley Boyce Library is both a physical and digital space for GWC students, faculty, and staff to gather resources, get research help, hang out, and more! The Library maintains an on-site collection of 45,000 print and non-print materials and more than 10,000 ebooks. We also provide access to many online databases with newspaper, magazine, and scholarly journal articles, streaming on-demand movies and documentaries accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world whether on or off-campus.
Library Lobby
There are tables throughout the 2nd and 3rd floor for individual and group study. Group study rooms are available to groups of 2 or more GWC students and may be reserved up to 2 hours per day. The rooms may be booked up to a week ahead of time at goldenwestcollege.edu/library. Dry erase markers, USB speakers, and calculators are also available for loan.

Librarians can help you start your research, locate any information in multiple formats, cite information sources, and use our many online resources and services. Visit us at the library, call, text, email, or chat with us!
1st Floor of the Learning Resources Center
The Library has a textbook reserve collection for 2 hour in-library use that includes titles from many of the subjects taught on campus.
Books
The Library has computers with access to the Internet and Microsoft Office. We also have wireless internet access if you prefer using your own devices.
PC Computers
You can print from any computer in the library. Self-serve B&W copies are 10¢ per page. A scanner is available at the Public Services desk.
Photocopier
Research Guides created by GWC librarians. These guides provide helpful curated information on a variety of topics including research in specific subjects and writing tips such as how to do citations.
