PrepStep is a learning platform that builds academic success and preparation for today's workplace. PrepStep includes interactive academic and licensing practice tests (e.g., GRE, SAT, NCLEX) with instant scoring and customized feedback.

Available through the GWC library, PrepSTEP offers targeted learning centers — each with a collection of practice tests, quizzes, tutorials, microlessons, e-books, articles, and flashcards — to help you:

  • Prepare for ACT® and SAT® college admissions exams
  • Score higher on college placement tests
  • Improve your core English, math, and science skills
  • Acquire basic computer skills
  • Build foundational skills for college success
  • Explore careers in teaching, nursing, allied health, the military, law enforcement, the trade professions and more
  • Prepare for professional license exams: NCLEX, TEAS, POST, CBEST, etc.
  • Build workplace skills such as keyboarding/typing, time management, teamwork, and more
  • Develop skills in leading-edge technology topics through Amazon Web Services training courses

First-time users will need to register to use the database.

If you have not used PrepSTEP for Colleges before, you will need to register.

Creating an account allows you to:

  • Study
  • Take and revisit practice tests 
  • Save your work-in-progress
  • Store score reports
  • Take tutorials
  • Access eBooks

You may choose your own email & password.
